Shampoos

Evera makes five vegan shampoos, each silicone-free, paraben-free and made in Italy. All five use a gentle, coconut-derived cleanser (sodium coco-sulfate), so they contain a sulfate, and differ in their plant extracts. Choose Frequent Use Shampoo N1 for daily washing, Moisturising Shampoo No.2 for dry or frizzy hair, or a Supherbal shampoo for red (No.3), blonde (No.4) or dark (No.5) colour. Each bottle is 250 ml.

How to choose

Start with what your hair needs most. For daily washing on any hair type, choose No.1. For dry, frizzy or curly hair, No.2 adds moisture. If you colour your hair, the Supherbal shampoos are made around red, blonde or dark tones. Unsure? Take the hair quiz.

• Frequent Use Shampoo N1: made for frequent washing, with organic-farmed green tea, orange blossom and basil to refresh the scalp.
• Moisturising Shampoo No.2: for dry, frizzy or curly hair, with rice, fenugreek, apricot and marshmallow root extracts.
• Supherbal Shampoo No.3: for red and copper to auburn hair, with henna and hibiscus extracts.
• Supherbal Shampoo No.4: for natural, highlighted or lightened blonde, with rhubarb, calendula and hops extracts, a brightening shampoo rather than a purple toner.
• Supherbal Shampoo No.5: for dark hair, natural or coloured, with indigo, black currant and liquorice root extracts.

A shampoo only cleanses. Follow it with Frequent Use Conditioner N1 or a mask. The Daily Duo N1 bundles Frequent Use Shampoo N1 and Frequent Use Conditioner N1 for £63 instead of £70.

What is in them

All five use sodium coco-sulfate, a gentle, coconut-derived cleanser, alongside cocamidopropyl betaine, decyl glucoside and coco-glucoside. It is a sulfate, so these are not the right choice if you avoid sulfates altogether. None contains silicones or parabens; all are vegan and never tested on animals. Are Evera shampoos vegan?

Yes. All five are vegan and never tested on animals. They are also silicone-free and paraben-free, and made in Italy.

Do Evera shampoos contain sulfates?

Yes. Each one uses sodium coco-sulfate, a coconut-derived cleanser, with milder co-surfactants. If you need a shampoo with no sulfate at all, these are not the right choice.

Which shampoo is best for dry or frizzy hair?

Moisturising Shampoo No.2 is made for dry, frizzy or curly hair. Add Moisturising Mask No.2 when your hair needs more moisture.

Do I need a conditioner as well?

Your shampoo cleanses; a conditioner softens and detangles. Frequent Use Conditioner N1 is light and made for frequent washing, and it follows any of the five.
