A colour-care shampoo for dark hair. Indigo leaf extract and organic-farmed black currant are there to keep brown, black and dark colour-treated hair looking deep and glossy, washed with a gentle, coconut-derived cleanser. Made in Italy and used every day in the four GA Salons in London.
Who it is for
Dark brown, black, espresso and dark colour-treated hair, in any texture from straight to curly, especially hair that is dry, frizz-prone or in need of colour care.
Not for: blonde or red hair, which have their own shampoos (Supherbal Shampoo No.4 and Supherbal Shampoo No.3). It does not darken hair. It keeps the tone you have rather than adding more.
What is in it
- Indigo leaf extract. The plant this formula is built around, used to enrich and deepen dark tones.
- Black currant and liquorice root extracts. Both from organic farming. Black currant is added for shine, liquorice root for scalp comfort.
- Fenugreek and rice extracts. Also from organic farming, added to strengthen and soften.
- Niacinamide (vitamin B3). A scalp-conditioning ingredient.
- Sodium coco-sulfate. The cleanser: a gentle, coconut-derived sulfate, working alongside cocamidopropyl betaine and decyl glucoside. That makes this a shampoo with a sulfate in it, and we would rather say so plainly.
Vegan, silicone-free and paraben-free, and never tested on animals. The full ingredient list on this page includes the fragrance and its allergens.
How to use
Apply to wet hair and massage for 30 to 60 seconds. Leave for one to two minutes, then rinse. Use it as your main shampoo to stretch the time between salon visits.
