Hair Care for Dry Hair — Replenish, Don't Just Coat

Dry hair is hair that has lost moisture it should be holding. The fix isn't heavier silicones or glossier finishes that only look hydrated — it's restoring what's missing at the fibre level. Our dry-hair range pairs marshmallow root and fenugreek with cold-extracted Italian botanicals to rebuild moisture from the cortex out, without the suffocating build-up of synthetic conditioners.

Each formula is sulphate-free, silicone-free and made in Italy. Shampoo gently — so you're not stripping the oils your scalp is trying to make in the first place. Mask weekly — so damaged cuticles get the mucilage and plant proteins they need to stay flexible. Finish with a light treatment nectar to seal the result.

  • Moisturising Shampoo No.2 — coconut-derived cleansers, marshmallow root, chamomile
  • Moisturising Mask No.2 — fenugreek proteins, aloe, shea butter
  • Liquid Gloss Nº0 — rice protein and a botanical shine complex, used pre-wash

Not sure where to start? The two-minute ritual quiz matches the routine to your hair.

Frequently asked

What causes hair to become dry?

Multiple factors: harsh sulphate shampoos stripping natural oils, hot water washing, frequent heat styling, sun and salt water exposure, colour and chemical services, hard water mineral build-up, low humidity environments. Genetics also play a role — fine hair tends drier than coarse, and curly hair drier than straight.

Will silicone-free conditioner really hydrate dry hair?

Yes — silicones coat the hair to create the *feeling* of moisturisation without actually adding hydration. Real moisture comes from humectants (aloe vera, marshmallow root) and emollients that absorb into the hair shaft. Evera's Moisturising line uses these plant-derived hydrators for genuine, lasting moisture.

How often should I do a deep conditioning mask on dry hair?

Once a week for moderately dry hair. Twice a week for severely dry, damaged, or chemically-treated hair. Apply to clean, towel-dried hair (not soaking wet — that dilutes the product), comb through, leave 10-15 minutes, rinse with lukewarm water.

Should I avoid washing my hair if it's dry?

No — clean scalp is essential for healthy hair growth. Instead, switch to a moisturising sulphate-free shampoo like Evera Moisturising Shampoo No.2, wash 2-4× per week, and use a weekly mask. Skipping washes leads to product build-up which also dehydrates hair.

Which Evera products are best for severely dry hair?

The Moisturising line: Moisturising Shampoo No.2 + Moisturising Mask No.2 weekly + Styling Nectar No.11 as daily leave-in. For added protein-protection, add Liquid Gloss Treatment Nº0 once a week alternating with the mask. This four-product routine addresses every layer of dry-hair care.
