Calendula (Calendula officinalis), also known as pot marigold, has long been used in European herbal tradition. In Evera it appears in the Blonde line, which is made for blonde, bleached and highlighted hair.
What Calendula Is Used For
A traditional botanical: calendula flower contains flavonoids and carotenoids, and it is traditionally used in gentle, soothing preparations. These are traditional uses, not measured results for Evera.
Scalp: calendula is traditionally used to soothe the skin. We do not claim that it treats irritation, redness or any scalp condition. If your scalp is sensitive, patch-test first, and speak to your doctor about persistent problems.
In the Blonde line: calendula sits alongside rhubarb stem extract and vanilla fruit extract, with rice, fenugreek, hops and orange flower extracts. Neither the shampoo nor the mask contains a violet pigment, so they are not toners.

How to use Calendula

- Wet hair thoroughly with lukewarm water. (30s)
- Apply Evera Supherbal Shampoo No.4, the Blonde shampoo that contains calendula, to roots and work it through the lengths. (30s)
- Massage the scalp for 30–60 seconds. (60s)
- Rinse thoroughly. (30s)
- If you like, follow with Supherbal Mask No.4, which also contains calendula, on mid-lengths and ends only. (60s)
