Sustainability at Evera
We are a small brand and we would rather tell you what we can document than make large promises. This page lists the facts we can stand behind and says where we have nothing to report yet.
Organic Ingredient Sourcing
We use organic-farmed botanicals: where an ingredient comes from organic farming, the ingredient list marks it with an asterisk (*). Organic farming restricts the use of synthetic pesticides and fertilisers.
The botanicals that our ingredient lists mark as coming from organic farming include calendula, rice, fenugreek and marshmallow root. Each product page shows its exact ingredient list.
Plant Extracts
The botanicals in our formulas are plant extracts, named on the label by their INCI names. We do not make claims about extraction methods or energy use, because we have no data to show you.

Vegan & Cruelty-Free
Every Evera product is 100% vegan and cruelty-free. We never use animal-derived ingredients and we never test on animals — full stop.
What We Leave Out
Here is what we can say for certain, product by product. Every product page carries the full ingredient list.
- Silicones: none in our shampoos, conditioner, masks, Liquid Gloss or Styling Nectar. Mousse No.10 contains amodimethicone, a silicone
- Parabens: none in any Evera product. Sulfates: our shampoos contain sodium coco-sulfate, a gentle, coconut-derived cleanser that is a sulfate; our conditioner, masks, Liquid Gloss and Styling Nectar contain none
- Synthetic colourants: none in our shampoos, conditioner, masks, Liquid Gloss or Styling Nectar. Mousse No.10 contains CI 47005 (Yellow 10) and caramel as colourants
- Mineral oil: no mineral oil or petrolatum appears in any of our ingredient lists. Mousse No.10 uses propane, butane and isobutane as propellants
Crafted in Italy
Every Evera product is made in Italy. Cosmetics sold in the UK and the EU must meet the safety rules of the market they are sold in.
Our products are made in Italy and sent to customers in the UK and Europe.
Packaging
We have not yet documented the materials, recycled content or recyclability of our packaging, so we are not making packaging claims on this page. When we have facts to share, they will go here.
Hydrolysed Proteins Instead of Silicones
Instead of silicones, our shampoos, conditioner, masks, Liquid Gloss and Styling Nectar use plant-derived conditioning ingredients such as hydrolysed rice, quinoa, oat, soy and wheat protein. Mousse No.10 contains amodimethicone, a silicone. We make no claim about how any ingredient breaks down in the environment.

Evera was born in GA Salons, where founder Gennaro Dell'Aquila works with real hair and real clients. Our products are used every day in our four London salons.
