A creamy, moisture-first shampoo that cleans dry, frizzy and curly hair gently and leaves it soft. Made in Italy with organic-farmed rice, fenugreek, apricot and marshmallow root, and used every day in the four London salons of GA Salons, founded by Gennaro Dell'Aquila.
Who it is for
- Dry, frizzy, dehydrated or coarse hair, including curls and waves.
- Hair that has taken a beating from heat, sun, hard water or over-styling.
Who it is not for
It is not our lightest shampoo and may feel too rich on very fine or oily hair. For everyday use on those hair types, choose Frequent Use Shampoo N1.
What is in it
- Sodium coco-sulfate: the cleanser. It is a coconut-derived sulfate, and we are open that this shampoo does contain a sulfate. It is blended with cocamidopropyl betaine and decyl glucoside to soften the wash.
- Rice, fenugreek seed, apricot and marshmallow root extracts: organic-farmed botanicals that give slip and a soft, smooth feel.
- Guar hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride: a conditioning polymer made from guar that helps hair detangle as you rinse.
- Glycerin and niacinamide: glycerin holds water in the hair; niacinamide (vitamin B3) is a skin-conditioning ingredient.
Silicone-free, paraben-free and vegan. Fragranced with patchouli oil, vanillin and perfume, so check the full ingredients list if you react to fragrance.
How to use
Apply to wet hair and massage into the scalp and lengths. Leave for one to two minutes (longer contact means more conditioning), then rinse. Use two to four times a week, depending on how dry your hair is.
Pairs well with
Moisturising Mask No.2 as the weekly deep treatment, or Liquid Gloss Nº0 for shine and detangling. You can skip a separate conditioner on mask and gloss days.
