A colour-care shampoo for red, copper and auburn hair. It is built around henna leaf extract and organic-farmed hibiscus, with a gentle, coconut-derived cleanser, to look after warm red tones as you wash. Made in Italy and used every day in the four GA Salons in London.
Who it is for
Red, copper, auburn and other warm-toned hair, natural or colour-treated. Red tones are often the first to fade, so they are worth washing with something designed for them.
Not for: blonde or dark hair, which have their own shampoos (Supherbal Shampoo No.4 and Supherbal Shampoo No.5). This is a colour-care shampoo, not a dye. It does not deposit colour, it looks after the tone you already have.
What is in it
- Henna leaf extract. The plant this formula is built around, used here to support warm red tones and shine.
- Hibiscus and goji berry extracts. Both from organic farming. Hibiscus is added for shine.
- Fenugreek and rice extracts. Also from organic farming, added to strengthen and soften.
- Niacinamide (vitamin B3). A scalp-conditioning ingredient.
- Sodium coco-sulfate. The cleanser: a gentle, coconut-derived sulfate, working alongside cocamidopropyl betaine and decyl glucoside. That makes this a shampoo with a sulfate in it, and we would rather say so plainly.
Vegan, silicone-free and paraben-free, and never tested on animals. It is scented with lemon and cinnamon oils and fragrance; the full ingredient list on this page lists the fragrance allergens.
How to use
Apply to wet hair and massage gently for 30 to 60 seconds. Leave for one minute, then rinse thoroughly. Use it as your main shampoo to keep your red tone going between salon visits.

Supherbal Shampoo Nº3 is made with a gentle, coconut-derived cleanser. Henna, hibiscus and rice extract are formulated to extend red vibrancy while leaving hair soft and shiny.
