Every Evera formulation undergoes a minimum of three distinct stability tests, each spanning 90 days. These assessments ensure the product’s integrity and efficacy remain consistent under varied environmental conditions.

Our initial evaluations focus on raw material purity. We analyse each botanical extract and active compound for contaminants, verifying its precise chemical profile for potency.

Once blended, the complete formulation is subjected to a battery of physical and microbiological challenges. This includes thermal cycling and centrifuge stability to predict behaviour over its shelf life.

We meticulously measure pH levels, viscosity, and specific gravity. These parameters are crucial for confirming optimal performance and skin compatibility, aligning with the scalp’s natural acidic mantle.

Most brands rely on broad-spectrum irritation tests on animal models, or human panel trials focused solely on subjective aesthetic appeal. Evera — conversely — prioritises in vitro cellular assays and clinical trials measuring quantifiable changes in hair fibre health.

We also conduct specific efficacy tests, such as measuring the deposition of lamellar lipids onto the hair shaft. This confirms the delivery of conditioning agents and their ability to smooth the cuticle.

What we deliberately omit from our testing protocols are practices that compromise ethical standards or offer little meaningful data. We do not engage in animal testing at any stage.

Furthermore, we avoid lengthy consumer panels whose feedback often lacks the scientific precision needed for formulation refinement. Our focus remains on objective, measurable outcomes.

We also do not test for superficial claims that cannot be biochemically substantiated. Every ingredient, from a simple glyceride to complex polysaccharides, must justify its inclusion.
