Our exacting standard for plant-led formulations.

Our exacting standard for plant-led formulations.

Geposted von Evera am

At Evera, our commitment to plant-led formulations begins with a precise vetting process: every botanical active must demonstrate measurable efficacy. We look beyond a 'free from' list to what an ingredient actively contributes.

This defines vegan, but not the lazy kind. It’s a distinction between merely excluding animal products and proactively choosing plant derivatives for their superior molecular benefits.

Most common emulsifiers are readily available synthetics. Evera, conversely, prioritises ingredients like cold-pressed Sicilian prickly pear seed oil, rich in tocopherols and essential fatty acids.

Our plant-led philosophy demands a deeper understanding of botanical chemistry. We seek specific fractions, such as hydrolysed pea protein, chosen for its amino acid profile that closely mimics hair’s natural keratin structure.

Precision extends to processing methods. Gentle extraction preserves delicate compounds, ensuring potent polysaccharides and antioxidant complexes remain intact, not denatured by harsh chemicals or heat.

Formulation integrity also considers synergy. We balance pH levels to optimise absorption, ensuring each botanical extract works harmoniously to support scalp and strand vitality.

Many brands simply list “vegan” as a marketing claim. Our focus is on the measurable impact of each extract — from strengthening hair fibres to maintaining optimal moisture.

We scrutinise the INCI list for quality and concentration. Effectiveness stems from plant origins, not inert fillers. Where some use mineral oil, we prefer plant-derived glycerides and phytosterols.

Our sourcing reflects this ethos. For Sicilian aloe, we work with growers employing traditional harvesting methods, ensuring the plant’s potent mucopolysaccharides are preserved.

Evera’s plant-led approach is a commitment to efficacy, transparency and a profound respect for nature’s capacity to nurture hair.
